The companion room to the Facebook group — same people, minus the algorithm deciding what you see and the posts buried under ads. Ask a harness question at eleven at night and get an answer from someone who's done the same or similar install.

The join code is posted in the Facebook group. Paste it below. That's the only door — no account, no password, nothing to remember. It keeps the room to people actually in the trade.

Two ways to talk

As yourself. Your name or your shop name shows on your messages, and you can post photos in the main room — wiring shots, dash layouts, routing, the stuff that's easier to show than describe.

Off the record. You get a handle like installer_4f2a. No name, no email, no photos, and those messages are deleted from the server on a timer.

Off the record means it isn't kept here. It doesn't stop another member from taking a screenshot. Treat it as not on file, not as can't leave the room.

House rules

  1. Working installers and veteran installers welcome.
  2. No customer data. No VINs, addresses, fleet lists or client names.
  3. Talk shop, not spam. What you charge is fair game but this is a public channel.
  4. Photos allowed in the main room, from named accounts only.
  5. Argue about a product all you like. No personal attacks.
